A Plea for Missing Prosthetic
SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — Desire Madarang of Sierra Vista, AR has been searching high and low for her missing spare prosthetic leg. She was born with a birth defeat and has used a prosthetic leg since she was a year old. The 47 year old placed the leg down next to her car for easy accessibility when it went missing.The $2,000 leg will now cost $15,000 to replace. She is understandably upset.
Although it has had 11 years of usage, it is still quite functionable. She has expressed anger at the person or persons responsible, but only wants the leg back and will not press charges.
